The branch in Hereford is located a 'stones-throw' from the cathedral which dates back to 1079 AD, and is home to the Mappa Mundi.
The building we are situated in used to be a bank and we still have the old bank vaults in our cellar. We also have a tunnel that has been excavated at some point in time from our basement, which runs for approximately 50m under the main street through the city centre before coming to a dead end. We still have no idea why this was ever dug, despite researching it!
