We work hard to provide our clients with a first class service. If you are not happy with any aspect of the service you have received, we would like to know and will do all we can to resolve the situation. Modern Slavery Act Transparency Statement
This statement is made pursuant to S54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps the Company has taken during the financial year 1st March 2016 to 28th February 2017 to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in our supply chains or in any part of our business.
We have reported to HM Government the data required by them for firms employing more than 250 people.
The pay gap the data demonstrates is caused by the fact that there are more males than females in management and senior leadership positions (that attract higher pay) across the business; a fact and challenge seen across nearly all financial service firms and business as a whole. The pay gap is not caused by unequal pay for men and women in the same roles and with similar experience.
The gender pay gap is a situation that we, and society as a whole, are anxious to address as for us it is critical to the ongoing success and future of our business.
Based on the average hourly rates of pay at 5th April 2018, the mean gender pay gap was 23% (2017: 24%), and the median (mid point) pay gap was 12% (2017: 12%).
The data at 5th April 2018 for bonuses shows that the mean bonus gap was 45% (2017: 56%), and the median bonus gap was 61% (2017: 60%). 13% (2017: 16%) of males receive a bonus, and 9% (2017:3%) of females.
Across the pay quartiles, in the lowest quartile (quartile 1), 54% (2017: 55%) are female and 46% (2017:45%) are male. In the second quartile, 52% (2017: 51%) are male and 48% (2017:49%) are female, in the third quartile, 56% (2017: 60%) are male and 44% (2017 :40%) are female, and in the top quartile, 76% (2017: 73%) are male and 24% (2017: 27%) are female.
